Overview

HDMI to Component Video + Stereo Audio Converter - Google TV, Apple TV Compatible
This HDMI to Component adapter that converts an HDMI signal into Component Video (or called YPbPr or RGB) and R/L stereo audio. This HDMI to RGB adapter allows you to enjoy your high definition image & sound when watching movies or playing games on the older component TVs or projectors that don't have an HDMI input. It offers perfect solutions for digital entertainment center, HDTV retail, HDTV/STB/DVD/Projector factory, noise space and security concerns, data center control, information distribution, conference room presentation, school and corporate training environments.

Note: this HDMI to component converter does not support 1080P. If you need to support 1080P, please check the upgrade version of HDMI to YPbPr Video converter.

HDMI to Component (RGB) Adapter Features:

-This HDMI to RGB Adapter converts an HDMI video and audio input signal into a component (Y-Pb-Pr video @ 60 Hz) and right and left audio output
-Easy to Use: Installs in seconds, no settings and it is a resolution pass-through converter.
-It is purely for conversion between video formats but not convert the input/output video resolutions;
-Audio output format: 2 channel LPCM;
-Supports 165MHz/1.65Gbps per channel (6.75Gbps all channel) bandwidth for HDMI Input.
-HDMI resolutions: 480P@60Hz, 576P@50Hz, 720P@50/60Hz, 1080i@50/60Hz;
-Component Video resolutions:480P@60Hz, 576P@50Hz, 720P@50/60Hz, 1080i@50/60Hz.
-The source device must be set at the NATIVE resolution of the TV as this unit doesn't convert resolutions

NOTE:
This device is not a scaler but only a converter. This means that the resolution of the incoming HDMI video signal is the same as the output signal and the component video input of the display (usually 1080i @ 60 Hz) MUST MATCH the source HDMI resolution for optimum picture quality. You may need to change it in the source devices MENU. If you don't match them you may not get a picture.

    i was using Sony Blu-ray player as the source connected via HDMI to the HDMI-to-Component Converter then the converter's output into component video inputs on an older older Mitsubishi DLP TV that doesn't have HDMI. I had to first set the Sony Blu-ray player to force the output to 720P and not use auto mode (as the technical says, you must first set the HD source devices to either 720p or 1080i for older TVs since the supported max resolution for the converter is 1080i). This setup worked just fine. Everything goes well now.
